Gender reveals

Pink or blue? Find out together on the water

A gender reveal is a few seconds everyone remembers: the knife goes into the cake, the box opens, and the whole family shouts at once. Pink Yacht Dubai gives that moment a private stage – a fully pink 64 ft flybridge yacht in Dubai Marina, with the towers of the Marina and JBR behind the parents-to-be.

The whole yacht is yours with captain and crew, for up to 20 guests. It costs AED 1,800 per hour Mon–Thu or AED 2,499 Fri–Sun (decoration + cake included) for the yacht, not per person, with a minimum of 3 hours. And yes, the yacht is pink – which makes the wait for the answer even more fun.

Reveals that work on a yacht

The cake cut

A cake that is plain outside and pink or blue inside. Ask for it as a custom cake (from AED 500): the bakery receives the answer from the doctor’s envelope, and nobody on board knows until the cake is cut on the aft deck table.

The balloon box

A box on the flybridge or the aft deck that opens to release pink or blue balloons. Balloons stay tied to the box or held by guests and go back to shore with you – nothing is let go over the sea.

Pink or blue lights

For a sunset or evening reveal, pink or blue lights can be part of a custom decoration (from AED 500). As the sky gets darker, the colour on deck tells the story.

What we do not use

No confetti, powder, smoke or glitter cannons, and no fireworks of any kind. Powder and confetti end up in the water, and fireworks are not allowed on board. The reveals above give the same moment without the mess.

Planning checklist

Five things to send us on WhatsApp

  1. The date and the start time. Sunset gives soft light for the video.
  2. How many guests – up to 20, including grandparents and children.
  3. How many hours. Minimum 3 hours (AED 5,400 Mon–Thu, AED 7,497 Fri–Sun); 4 hours (AED 7,200 Mon–Thu, AED 9,996 Fri–Sun) leaves time to cruise before the reveal.
  4. Your reveal idea – cake, balloon box or lights – and who holds the secret.
  5. Who films, so the crew keeps the right spot clear at the right time.

We confirm everything on WhatsApp, send a secure payment link and share the meeting point at Dubai Marina before the day.

Why a yacht

Why the family moment works on board

At home, someone is always in the kitchen; at a restaurant, other tables are watching. On a private yacht, every guest is in the same place when the answer comes out, and the camera has the water and the skyline behind you. The 20 guests share one price, and the salon and three cabins give grandparents and little ones a calm place to sit.

Still planning the earlier celebration? See the baby shower yacht. For a cruise for mum on 21 March, see Mother’s Day on the yacht. To capture the bump and the big moment, look at the yacht photoshoot page, and for the years ahead there is always a birthday on the pink yacht.
